Dmitry Taput comments for Pravo.ru on practice of disclosing information about assets of a debtor’s relatives in bankruptcy

When considering the bankruptcy administrators’ complaint, the Russian Supreme Court ruled that courts should request information on the assets of a debtor’s children at the request of the administrators even if there is the slightest suspicion that assets are fictitiously registered in their names.

Dmitry Taput, a Senior Associate at Petrol Chilikov, is confident that court practice will eventually follow the path of applying the ‘fictitious owner’ category to other persons to whom the debtor re-registers assets ‘for show’.
