Partner Egor Chilikov recorded a lecture on “Litigation and arbitration dispute management abroad: how to achieve efficiency, reduce expenses and time limits?” for LF Academy legal education project.
Egor explained how parties can control the process and how to build the right pre-litigation strategy, i.e. preparation and gathering of evidence, how to succeed on the case, reduce the workload on the legal team and save time and money. Egor gave expert advice on choosing a particular arbitration tribunal and searching for sources to determine the inner workings of the chosen institution.
In addition, Egor answered non-trivial questions: what number of rounds is the golden mean? What to do if the likelihood of security for costs is too high? How to keep to a minimum budget if the case is being handled abroad?
A video of the lecture is available on the LF Academy website.
