On 7 December 2018 the Russian Arbitration Center convened the II Conference on Arbitration of Corporate Disputes. The Conference was held on the occasion of the oral rounds of the Moot Competition on Arbitration of Corporate Disputes named after Professor V.P. Mozolin.

Olesya Petrol gave presentation on arbitrability of out-of-contract claims and their coverage by typical arbitration clauses, highlighted approaches in jurisprudence of the Russian courts and courts of other jurisdictions.

Egor Chilikov spoke on extension of arbitration agreements to non-signatories under Russian law in light of current trends and practices in jurisprudence of Russian courts.  Egor devoted special attention to the common practice in corporate disputes where shareholders assert derivative claims on behalf of a company and claim to be not bound by arbitration agreements executed by the company.
