“Developments in the World’s Leading Institutional Rules” by Egor Chilikov was published in Issue 7 of the RAA40 Newsletter.
In the article, Egor comments on improvements and innovations made to the rules of ICC, LCIA, Swiss Chambers, SCC, SIAC and HKIAC over the past several years and considers how the institutions compete with each other to gain a bigger share of the arbitration market. Egor observes that this competition naturally causes major institutional rules to look very much like one another, though this does not mean that all institutional rules are now the same.
